Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how [Legal entity / sole trader name] (“Followy”, “we”) processes personal data of users of followy.link and its subdomains, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

2. What we collect and why

  • Account data (email, name) — to create and manage your account and the beta waitlist. Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Page content you create (bio, links, images, socials) — to publish your page. Legal basis: contract.
  • Onboarding inputs sent to our AI provider to generate your page. Legal basis: contract.
  • Privacy-first analytics (page views/clicks, no IP stored, anonymous visitor hash) — to understand usage. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Technical data (essential cookies, logs) — to keep the service secure and working. Legal basis: legitimate interest / contract.

We do not sell personal data. During the private beta there are no payments.

3. Sub-processors

4. International transfers

Some processors are outside the EU/EEA (e.g. the US). Transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards. [Confirm mechanisms before launch.]

5. Retention

We keep account and page data while your account is active and delete it on request or after account deletion. Anonymous analytics are aggregated. [Define exact periods before launch.]

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure (Art. 17), restriction, portability, and object to processing. To exercise them, email privacy@followy.link. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
