Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Followy, operated by [Legal entity / sole trader name]. By creating an account you agree to them. Followy is currently in private beta.
1. The beta service
The service is provided during a private beta, on a limited-seat basis and free of charge. It may change, break, or be unavailable, and features may be added or removed. No availability or fitness guarantees are made during the beta.
2. Accounts & waitlist
You need an account to use Followy. New sign-ups may be placed on a waitlist and approved at our discretion while seats are limited. You are responsible for your account and the accuracy of the information you provide.
3. Acceptable use & prohibited content
You are solely responsible for everything you create, publish or share through Followy. You agree not to use the service to create, host, publish, link to or distribute any of the following, and you may not use Followy for any unlawful purpose:
- Sexual or pornographic material, sexually explicit content, or any sexual content involving minors (the latter will be reported to the competent authorities).
- Hateful, racist, discriminatory or extremist content, or content that harasses, threatens, defames or incites violence against any person or group.
- Illegal content or activity, including fraud, scams, the sale of illegal goods or services, and content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy or other rights.
- Spam, phishing, malware, or attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Content that is deceptive, impersonates others, or that you do not have the rights to.
We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, remove or unpublish any content and suspend or terminate any account that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law. We are not obligated to monitor content, but we may do so. To report content you believe violates these Terms, contact abuse@followy.link.
4. Your content & responsibility
You keep ownership of the content you create. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process and display your page. You represent that you hold all rights required to publish your content and that it does not violate Section 3 or any law.
Followy acts solely as a hosting provider for content created by its users; such content does not represent our views and we are not responsible for it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless [Legal entity / sole trader name] and its operator from any claim, liability, damage or cost (including legal fees) arising from your content or your breach of these Terms.
5. Payments
During the private beta the service is free; there are no payments or subscriptions.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided “as is” during the beta, without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages or for data loss during the beta. [Review liability wording before launch.]
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may end the beta or your access with notice.
